Eclipse's CD5100 CD receiver gives you more than great sound — its nifty Area Shot feature lets you download point-to-point navigation instructions from the Eclipse web site, then load the data into the receiver via the USB input or recordable disc. You'll be guided to your destination by text information and direction arrows.
The CD5100 plays CDs loaded with MP3 and WMA files, and includes a USB input for USB drives or portable players with USB capabilities. A built-in auxiliary input, with the option to add another, gives you room to add outboard audio sources. There's also a connection for adding an Eclipse SIRIUS satellite radio, HD Radio tuner, or iPod® control adapter.
Eclipse wants you to enjoy the ride, so they've packed the CD5100 with a sturdy internal amplifier, complemented by a 3-band equalizer for custom tone-shaping. Built-in high- and low-pass filters optimize your system's performance by sending the appropriate frequencies to your car's sub and speakers. Three sets of high-voltage preamp outputs ensure you'll send a clean, crisp signal to any external amplifiers in your system.
